Event Description:
Bored of sitting at home this summer? Wan't to get outdoors and active?! Well CVLLPs Have a Wild Summer events are the perfect way to have fun and learn new skills at the same time! FREE Activities for 12-16 year olds from Leek and the surrounding area! Try your hand at woodland crafts with outdoor construction projects, learn about the natural and ancient history of your home town and have fun on the water at Rudyard Lake.
Meet at Leek High school bus stop at 10:30 each day and pickup from there at 4:00. Bring a packed lunch.
We'll be heading into Ballington Woods to turn a felled tree into a solid bench using just hand tools! dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy shoes/wellies.
